Human Goodness and Compassionate Action

There are multitudes of people worldwide that engage in acts of human kindness with no expectation or gratitude from their recipients. They have a deep altruism that finds simple and complex situations worthy of expressions that reflect their humanity. They know that helping others as individuals and their communities is what sustains them as well. When we expand our focus from personal well-being to a wider and wider sphere of caring, we are really strengthening ourselves.

The enrichment of our species and the planet are inseparable, requiring attention to systemic causes and effects. Acts of kindness and sustainable forethought need to encompass all Earth life, human and non-human. Caring that emanates from an internal core of goodness is more plentiful and prevalent than known. Violence on all levels has usually been captured first by our media outlets. There has been an uptick of more positive reporting noticed over the past year where we can acknowledge our shared humanity. Intentionality and perceptual understanding are shifting to the better as we discover more of our commonalities. We feel less alone and community starts to become more assessable as humanity finds its natural connectedness. Our societal strength depends on our caring for each other and those that seek to shred the fabric of connectedness harm themselves the most. What happens locally can affect many unmet others in our global sphere on this Earth.

Due to the inherent goodness of the human being, derived from emotional connection of the heart too the hearts of the many, a willingness to live by compassion propels those individual’s and their collective messages of Hope. Creative acts of kindness reverberate at a much higher frequency, raising that hope to new levels of Ascension.

“The instinct of community is everywhere in life.” – Margaret J. Wheatley
